Kris founded Studio 11 Architecture in 2008 following over ten years in architectural practice and working for regional developers. With a wide variety of experience including conservation and residential projects he has a particular interest in creating places where people want to live.

Johnathon Gower

Architectural Assistant

Johnathon joined Studio 11 Architecture in 2015 as an Architectural Assistant with particular experience in sustainable design.

Prior to embarking on his professional career, Johnathon studied architecture at Huddersfield University graduating in 2009 with a BA (Hons) degree.

Chloe Hewitt

Architectural Technician
OCDEA

Chloe has recently completed her BTEC Level 3 in Construction and SAP Assessors course with a view to undertaking a Higher National Course at The College of West Anglia.

Within the office Chloe leads her own team and has a particular interest in residential layouts and design.

Gemma Alexander

Marketing Co-ordinator

Gemma is the newest member of the Studio 11 team, bringing with her knowledge of marketing, customer relations experience and bringing ideas to life. Gemma was previously a manager of a local Building Society, and has helped develop websites for international marketing in her previous role. A mum to 3, a wife, agony aunt and a marketer!

Likes: Music, travelling, family time, playing the piano, red wine and chocolate.

Dislikes: Noisy eaters, bad drivers, spiders and wasps

Emma Gower

Trainee Architectural Technician

Emma joined us at the end of summer 2016 after completing her A levels, including product design. Whilst studying, Emma also found time to work for the department store John Lewis.

Likes: Driving cars, Concerts, The colour green, Southern Comfort and American Horror Story

Dislikes: Opening cardboard boxes (tearing cardboard!), Having her picture taken and Other road users

Beth Parrish

Trainee Architectural Technician

Beth started working at Studio 11 in autumn 2016 and was looking for a change in career, having previously been working in a bakery for the past 5 years.

She is a very talented sportswoman representing England twice at international badminton matches! Very much into sports, Beth also enjoys playing tennis and has a Level 3 Diploma in Diet & Nutrition.

Likes: Pizza, reading, going on holiday and a Gin and Tonic!

Dislikes: Spiders, Bananas, Loud eaters and People who are late

Ralph Charman

Chartered Architectural Technologist, Structural Engineer & Civil Engineer AMIStructE, MICE, MCIAT, ACIOB.

Ralph has worked in the building industry since 1965 and founded his own practice – Ralph Charman Associates in 1984. Ralph joins the Studio 11 Architecture team with a huge amount of professional experience in Architectural Structural and Civil Engineering, expanding the services available to Studio 11 clients.

Prior to joining Studio 11 Architecture, Ralph worked for a number of international companies where he gained a wealth of experience/knowledge working on the 'new' Automobile Association (AA) Headquarters in Basingstoke, the electrification of both The Peoples Republic of Yemen and Botswana including power stations, substations and distribution systems.

Likes: Current affairs, travel, good food, good beer and fine wine, reading, music and engineered structures.

Dislikes: Indecisiveness, bad drivers, hanging around airports, tripe and liquorice.

Favourite Building: Works by Antoni Guadi – El Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia, Casa Mila (La Pedrera), Casa Batllo and Palau Guell.
