Overview Details Blackfriars, Wisbech Formally the site of a public house, 'Blackfriars' is in the heart of Wisbech, adjacent to the Bowthorpe Conservation Area and on a key route into the town. The brief provided to Studio 11 Architecture was to maximise coverage on what is a restricted site but not in the form of apartments.The scheme chosen by the client was for twenty one-bedroom starter homes designed in a modern style which sit well adjacent to the conservation area. Whilst Planning Officers originally resisted the application, Planning Permission was finally granted in 2014. With a wide variety of experience including conservation and residential projects he has a particular interest in creating places where people want to live. Kris' passion for design has lead to his role as Creative Director, overseeing every project in the studio from meeting with you to listen to your aspirations at the start of your project, through to developing a vision and seeing that vision through to completion. Away from work, Kris enjoys family life, with two young children keeping him busy. He still will however, always find time for Formula 1.
