Overview Details Stringers Lane, Aston Studio 11 Architecture were appointed by Stay New Homes to complete the detailed design of a new four bedroom home with a basement.Unusually, the house is constructed using Insulated Concrete Formwork, incorporates a green roof and significant amounts of insulation which allows the home to be heated using a background heating system.This Project went on to win us Architect of The Year 2019 at Herts Building and Construction Awards. With a wide variety of experience including conservation and residential projects he has a particular interest in creating places where people want to live. Kris' passion for design has lead to his role as Creative Director, overseeing every project in the studio from meeting with you to listen to your aspirations at the start of your project, through to developing a vision and seeing that vision through to completion. Away from work, Kris enjoys family life, with two young children keeping him busy. He still will however, always find time for Formula 1. Since joining, Emma has gone on to achieve her National Certificate in Construction and is currently in her final year of a Higher National Certification in Construction before moving on to study Architecture at university. Emma works alongside Kris to develop and deliver projects in the studio with an appreciation for modern architecture and excellent customer service. Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends.
